Hey all,

I have an OG Manual - did they have an option to come with heated door mirrors? Or was this never an option on the OG?

And can they be upgraded to heated?

my 2004 350z had heated mirrors and for winter driving, they are so good. Surprised M2 didn't come with them by default.

I think the driver's side is heated.

Mine came with heated mirrors by default but it is US spec with the Ex Pgk so your options in the UK might be different. As for retrofitting, you can certainly buy the mirrors with the heating elements, the question is if the cabling running to the mirrors has the two wires you need to attach to the mirror.

If yes, super easy but not necessarily cheap, I think the mirrors are about $120 a side.

If no, I'm willing to bet there is still a way to get it done.

My UK 2017 OG has them, although I have not investigated it`s exact spec. , they definitely do heat - clear.

There is no dedicated button, they either work as per the US on line manual or via the heated rear window function

Automatic heating

Both exterior mirrors are automatically heated
whenever the engine is running.

oh ok, didn't realise. maybe its just slow to heat

Now that I think about it. When I was home for thanksgiving,it was very cold and snowed one night. My mirrors never frosted or had to be scraped. They were always clear. I thought it was just the driver’s side, but my passenger mirror stayed clean also.
