FYI for week 45 builds, called BMW Genius to discuss delivery options and the informed me that my car has entered production as of this AM. Scheduled to be complete 11/9

Had a week 42 build and I'm loaded on the Orion Highway as of 10/27/16!!!! Expected to land in Brunswick, GA on 11/9/16. Then it's a bit of a wait for me, PCD scheduled for 12/16/16.

Yeah it's the best date that worked out with my work schedule to still be able to go to the performance center. My drive is down to Florida afterwards so not as dicey as going north. Wish it were sooner but it'll be worth it!!

Glad you decided/were able to do PCD. You'll have a blast and driving south will more than likely be fine.

I was informed that you can have dealership that you purchased the car from make arrangements to deliver the vehicle to a local dealer in your area as but only under 2 conditions. 1) both dealerships agree on this arrangement and 2) your car has not boarded the ship yet. They will change the port of arrival and your receiving dealership (local) will perform the PDI etc...

You can also opt for PCD delivery as well.

Yes I saw that too. I'm in the process of doing this. My local dealer didnt agreed, but I got one 100mi away to agree. However, they want me to pay $1000. I think it's worth it. What's your expierence been like?

Personally I'd just take a short vaca and do the PCD instead of the extra $1k.

$1,000? Damn I guess it's the lesser of two evils if you decide to ship it.

I sent an e-mail to them and the CA said he'll get back to me so we'll see.

Heads up, my allocation with Apple BMW of York is up for grabs. I don't think it can be changed but it's a AW/6MT/Exec Pkg. Ask for Bryan and it should be for MSRP. It is currently in production and is a WK45 build.

Special thanks to MTHRAR for hooking it up earlier this quarter so I want to return the favor to the universe.

Through the miracle of Kris Kringle, I'm picking up my car locally this weekend.
