Too close to a curb when pulling into the parking garage at work. I blame it squarely on the curb! It has NO reason for existing.

Same thing happened to me on my front passenger wheel. Anyone had their wheels repaired yet? Concerned the matching of the dark tinted brushed wheel finish on the edge of the wheel. Haven't taken it to a shop yet to check it out.

Just installed the switch and decided to make a quick test video to show this bad boy in action (manual transmission ) I'm loving this mod! Better than the clutch stop.
Enjoy!

How well would you say the repair matched?
My scrape is only a couple of inches and not too deep, but I'm still anxious about getting it corrected.

Pretty close actually! At first you could barely tell it had happened, but over time the filler seems to have become soft, and it's starting to chip away slowly. :-\

I have had mine about 5 months and so far on week 2 the Valet crushed the front bumper, last month someone "cleaning" my car tore the Xpel on the hood, and last week the winshield got cracked....stuff just happens, roll with it.

The machined finish definitely makes it a tougher fix than a painted wheel. I figured if it still really bothered me I could have another shop take a crack at it. Haven't put the summer wheels back on yet, so I can't say how I feel. |

Thanks for posting that, I've been tempted to blow the $100. And then I think of how insane it is that I'd need to blow $100 just to get rid of something that shouldn't be there in the first place!

I thought the same thing, but I actually ended up purchasing one for $40 off ebay

setup my garage to work on the fmic and charge pipe install. didn't get far when i noticed the stock charge pipe has a vacuum line on it - but the new ER CP doesn't. so now i have to replace the pipe.

I have no idea. My only mod so far is a K&N drop in filter. I removed all of the oil with their cleaning kit, and dried out the filter over night before installing it. I was going to lightly oil it after a few hundred miles, but I never got that far, LOL.
It's going in for the 1200 mile service soon, so my dealer will have to figure it out. |

86°C to 87°C oil temp = OBC digital temp indicator needle moves from the final notch before the middle to the middle.
