LBB gets A LOT of Attention

I had it delivered from the East Coast. It showed up last Thursday. I'm not sure if it's the color or the car but it gets noticed. Last night, driving south on the 405 a Maserati Ghibli comes screaming up, slows a bit, starts revving like he wants to race and then pulls away.

I'm thinking he was just happy his car was able to be driven and not in it's usual stance on the back of a flatbed.

I haven't driven it much, I'm up to 73 miles but the package from IND showed up so I'l be changing reflectors. kidneys and side markers when it gets wrapped next week.

Nice! Looks clean by the beach! Right where LBB belongs!

I would say color first (given the fact that the majority of cars on the road seem to be white, black, silver and gray) and car second. LBB FTW!

Yeah I had a few people just coast with my car. Too bad I couldn't really push it....

Also had a couple people video record the car while i was at a restaurant. I can clearly see it from the window....it was weird.

He was actually thinking, "I should have got the M2 instead."

Although, after owning a Ghibli, I am sure a lot of owners are thinking, "I should have bought anything else instead."

Ya, was sad to see it go to fund my M2. Fortunately it went to a great home that has promised me I get first dibs buying it back when they get tired of it, which should be in about 5 years given past history with them.

For the average person on the street, it's the color LBB that grabs their attention; the majority of my co-workers are "non car guys" (ok, they're females ), and first thing they say is "what a fantastic color".

OTH, I've already had a Nissan GT-R beep/wave/flash me and give me a thumbs up, two people stop and ask to take pictures of my car, and an M4 pull up to my driveway and start talking to me. These were car guys

It's insane how much attention the car gets, mainly because of the color I think. Every day someone tags me in some random instagram post where someone "spotted" me while I am just out and about running errands. Even had an employee at the liquor store literally leave the counter, exit the store (leave it unattended), and stop me to tell me he liked it.

Is that Redondo Beach? Right by my home town. That's a great place to drive your car!

I have a friend with a Ghibli. It makes really nice sounds, and it seems to go pretty well. But, it was back at the dealer within 48 hrs of him first picking it up, and has been back there way too many times since.

He can't wait for the lease to end. At least he's gotten to drive some other nice cars while his has been at the shop.

Another friend just got a Quattroporte GTS, am curious how that ownership journey will go.
