I looked under the hood of my Canadian M2 tonight and the only sticker is the EPA emissions sticker and a few general information stickers.

USA M2..Hood stickers are identical to your Canadian M2! Except mine is BSM...Primer is light colored..white or gray....no insulation

so @gmzannata curious what you have under your hood?

Yep, I was wrong. I owe everyone a big apology on this one, I fucked up.

I've been away for work and could swear to god that the sticker was there, I checked phone photos and everything. Turns out they were the ones on my Z4MC, which does say GMBH.

So, once again, my serious apologies to everyone over this, I got carried away and should've probably checked at home before I made those comments.

That is strange that the last 7 digits of your VIN starts with a 7.The plant code for Leipzig is V,so the last 7 digits should start with a V.

Just because it doesn't have an M GHbH label, doesn't mean it's not designated as an M car. Since it already shares so many parts with the standard 2 series, BMW probably saw it was more beneficial to assemble the M2 in the Leipzig factory. Hence the label that reflects such. Doesn't make it any less of a so-called M car. You guys are digging into too much semantics and cargo requirements.

All X5M and X6M are assembled in the USA in South Carolina, does that make it a diluted American-made vehicle..

What are you designation-conscious going to do, especially the MAGA BMW owners, when BMW moves production to Mexico and it has a taco outline on the vehicle's label?
