Hi All,

2020 M2C. I am looking at my 3rd windshield in 1 year. Is this unusual? It happens with 'spirited' driving!

I suspect that the windshield is a stressed member, so if the car is cornering hard, any little scratch on the glass will result in a broken windshield.

not in my experience, ive been tracking the car and attacking curbs with no issues over 2 years.

I had the same problem, I solved it using GPF sheet.

To answer your question, no that's not normal. Going to need a bit more information to help with this one. Where do the cracks start? Have you taken the car to the same location for all these windshields? OEM or aftermarket glass?

Hi D.Yooras,

The crack has started both time now from about 1/3 the way up on the passenger side, and there has always been a small divot from a rock that starts the damage. Currently the original windshield cracked, and its replacement.
