Saw my first M2 in the wild
Two other people had LBB M2's at a BMW CCA event, so I have seen other M2's, but until a couple of days ago I had not seen a single one on the street outside of that event. I know a couple other people on these forums live in this area, but I had still not crossed paths with them or anyone else driving one.
Whoever it was pulled up on the left, but a bit behind me so I could only see the hood when looking to the left. A little crazy that after having owned the car for over 10 months now, it's the first time I've seen another during my daily drive. |

I always see this LBB M2 parked in the Officers Bar at the Presidio in SF. Very mesmerizing

I've seen 3 Alpine White's and one Mineral Grey.
The only LBB I've seen was when I went to put down my deposit at the dealership and couldn't decide between two colors. It was too green for my tastes on that day so I went AW. |

That said, I do see many more Ferraris than I do M2s. I'm kinda hoping the M2s stay a rare sight. |

I've only ever seen one in the wild (MG) since it went on sale roughly 18 months ago. My father also just saw his first M2 in the wild (LBB) a few weeks ago. They certainly are quite rare in MD!

I live in Beaverton and have a LBB. I saw another LBB on 217 a month ago and I saw a white one on Murray last week.

I'm in North New Jersey where everyone drives BMWs, Mercedes, and Range Rovers. I see M3/M4/M5/M6 at least once every day. M2, I see may be one per month. I'm glad to be part of the exclusive club. lol

I live in the Sacramento area and I've yet to see one in the wild despite being on the lookout every day for the past year. I'm also in the Bay Area for work a few times every month and haven’t seen one there either even though I know there are quite a few in the area.
I took my LBB to Cars & Coffee in Folsom where I live this past weekend. There were around 100 other cars there including a few M3/M4/M5s, but no one there (at least that I talked to) had ever seen the M2. Folks were pretty blown away by the color. Love it or hate it (and seems most love it), it definitely pops. Echo the previous sentiments - hoping this car continues to maintain it's 'limited' feel. Been fun |

I live in a town with a population of around 1400 people. To my surprise there's another M2 less than half a mile down the road from me. The owner found me on this forum.

Just saw my first M2 in the wild last week. LBB. I have to say... LLB looks great in person. I parked my 335is coupe in the next spot. We arrived back at our cars at the same time so I introduced myself (small town).
Beautiful car. |

Still haven't seen another one, other than another LBB someone was picking up at the dealer in Seattle while I was in for my first scheduled service.
Maybe I don't get out enough. Or maybe it's that year long waiting list. |

It seems to be that I see M2s in waves. I haven't seen any for a couple weeks now but when I do see them they tend to be two on the same day or maybe one each on consecutive days. Weird! |

Well, I saw a Mineral Grey M2 for the first time yesterday while driving through a shopping center in Prosper on Sunday. That color does look very cool in real life (not that it didn't look good in pictures also).
So, the only color I've not yet seen is black sapphire metallic. |
