Do m235i wheels fit M2?

Maybe a silly question, but after I return my m235i I will have a second set of wheels left over, with winter tires. If possible I would like to use it with the M2 next winter - but I don't know if they fit. They are stock staggered 18" rims.

Probably they will NOT fit, because they are not large enough for the brake pads.

These are some 18" size wheels that fit. If yours are same width/offset, then you are golden

M2 and M235i use the same brake calipers. It's the brake disc that's different.

I wondered this as well. I wanted to use my VMR 710 set from my M235i. I read that the 18" 710's wouldn't clear the front brake calibers. From pics I've seen, the M2 rotors are bigger and are really close with the stock 19" wheels.

I will still test it when I get my M2. If it doesn't work I'll just have to put my 710's back up for sale.

18" certainly work - just need the correct width (and off set of course)

I was just hoping to use the wheels I already had, with maybe some spacers, but I'm not sure the 710's will fit. A spare set is not something I must have, but would be nice. I have a second car, and the weather doesn't get as inclement were I live as some cities.

Offsets are pretty different. I think that's going to be your biggest problem. I'm running et35 and et45 for my VMRs on the M235i.

Short answer. No. Not without a lot of spacers.

I had a 135 before the M2 and really wanted to use my old Apex EC7s wheels on the track, but ended up having to buy another set with the proper offset.

BTW, the 235 and the 135 have similar offsets.
