Front Electronic Module - Comfort opening/closing:
-Unfold Mirrors when unlocking vehicle with Comfort Access = Active
-Fold mirrors when locking vehicle with comfort access = Active
- Comfort closing delay = No delay

Thanks. Found it. Should the car be in the off position before coding? I've never done thing before.

Assuming you need Comfort Access for this? I.e.: the PE won't be able to fold the mirrors?

What is PE? I have comfort access I think doesn't all f87s?

make sure you also code the delay time to 00 so they fold upon single press of remote key on lock

I have a vgate 2 and it isn't showing up on my wifi. A dud?

Performance Edition...doesn't come with Exec Package or Comfort Access (I believe). I'll need to check and see if I can code this with Bimmercode and see what it does

If your mirrors don't have a power folding button on the mirror switch, it can't do it.

Ahh so in the UK I already have the folding enabled by default
.. But there is a delay of around 2 or 3 seconds I have to hold the lock button on the key for it to work

Are you saying if I code it with bimmercode I should be able to remove the delay? Is this in easy mode?

In AU we have a similar default delay (think it was 2 seconds), I changed mine to .5 second (rather than zero so I still have the option of locking without folding the mirrors), works identical with either lock button on key or finger on door handle. With Bimmercode it's in the Front Electronic Module, "Comfort Closing Delay".

Cool thanks a lot - that is a small delay that annoys me lol so will look into that

I think I probably glossed over it when I previously looked as I saw 'comfort closing' and mixed it up with 'comfort access' which I don't have - so ignored it

I actually performed the coding through Esys program. trying to remember the value, i believe its called KOMFORTSCHUESSUNG. T he default is 0F and should be 00. this will eliminate any delays and fold on first touch of remote button.

Nope, this is done in the normal mode - select first option "Front Electronic Module/Car Access System" and then "Comfort opening/closing" is the ~5th heading down with all the options mentioned. I'm currently checking this is in demo mode as I'm obviously not connected to my car right now but it should be the same.
