Canine Carenge
A friend's dog was some what perturbed that it was left alone in an M2 during a 5 minute errand. It was short with no risk to the pooch, during mild winter weather.
As retaliation, the dog chewed off the knobs in the center counsel. A BMW dealership quoted $2200 to repair by replacing the entire center counsel. I still have to check the damage out in person, but I think the quote is ridiculous. If it's just knob damage, where can I go to order the plastic parts? If there was more than surface damage isn't 2200 still high? Pic attached

If it needs to be coded, I would think one of the remote coder vendors on the forum could take care of you. |

Is this what the heater controls look like pre-LCI? My LCI car has regular 7 segment display for the numbers, and an actual degree symbol rather than it all being dot matrix. The auto section looks different as well. Size wise it looks the same.
OP, beware if you're buying a replacement that LCI appears to be different. Edit: I couldn't find any photos of the LCI heater control in an M2, but here is the same part from a 3 series LCI:
