Curious about 16 nav screen and manual AC
There is a 16 MG M2 at my local Porsche dealer. Oddly, it has the manual HVAC a la PE M2 and a little nav screen similar to my 228 loaner. Is this how the 16 non-exec pack cars were equipped? I know PEs were Alpine, so just a little confused on this one.

Exec package for 16-17 didn't have anything to do with HVAC or Nav options (in the US at least). That is really weird. I don't think they made the Performance Edition for 2016 either.
bimmer.work VIN decoder is choking on it, although maybe they're just doing maintenance. I ran it through bmwvin.com and that seems to come up OK, and does imply that it is Nav-less (S663A "Professional Radio") and I see no mention of the 2-zone AC. It also has code S902A for "General Special Inspection." I wonder if this was a press car or a pre-release demo / manager car? The build date is 2016-January-05... I bet Artemis might be able to shed more light on it just based on his(her?) knowledge of the options code system / etc...

When I did the two day M School they had several M2s that were equipped that way, some even had manual seats. I am pretty sure this is one of the early production cars that BMW used in their fleet, probably got beat on pretty good at the school.

Yes, that's probably the only logical explanation. I'm just surprised I haven't see one in this type of trim yet since apparently they are out in the wild.

That's pretty interesting. I'd multiply the mileage by @ least 2.
Seems the listing is down. Someone got it. I wonder if they picked up what the OP and this thread did?
