M2 Road Trip for Summer 2017.
Hi Guys, i am a week 6 build and i am planning this very trip in July and planning on stopping in Switzerland for 2 nights but mainly the following cities, Geneva, St Tropez, Monaco, Pisa, Florence, Modena, Ljubljana ( where i will fit the Akrapovic System at they're base there ) and back up to Zlin.
Was wondering if anyone with another M2 is along this route that we could do a cool shoot with! or if anyone has any suggestions where else to go other then the planned route please share your ideas! Cheers https://www.google.cz/maps/dir/Pragu...4365!3e0?hl=en |

Sounds like a great trip! Swing over from the Prague to our Route 66 and round out the drive! Enjoy!!!!!!

I might have mine by then and will be in Geneva during office hours. Try adding the lake of Annecy to your trip ! Just south of Geneva. There's a great road up the Semnoz mountain 1700 m. overlooking the lake.

I'm looking at your part of the trip in this area... you seem to have planned on taking the motorway south of Geneva. In my view that would be a terrible waste as the normal mountain roads are so much nicer. You could take the Route Napoleon south of Grenoble to Sisteron and Nice. Spectacular scenery, especially the Gorges du Verdon. Don't forget to drive to Chamonix either !

I have something similar in mind for this summer as well. Maybe I will take a very similar trip, starting to align with your plans in Switzerland and ending in Maranello (where I will drive back straight north to Germany again). Let's see if we can get some more users involved.

Sounds like a fun trip. I'd recommend stopping in Portofino. (The roads get very tight as you approach the harbor so be careful if you go there.) Cannes is worth it for a quick stop as well. Lots of very nice cars there. I saw a 918, Veyron and F12 all within a couple hours. Pisa is cool, but not much more to see and do besides the Tower. (I've never seen so many people with selfie-sticks in my life there!) Monaco is very neat too. People just hang out watching fancy cars pull up to the casino and hotel.

Drop by Prague and let me know when you are here. We are already building a little gang with M2's here. It might also be somewhere in Europe with the car around July.
Great to hear you are going to install your Akra in Slovenia. If you need any help with anything on that matter, than please let me know. MR |
