Confirmed that I'll be picking up the car next week. Then after delivery:

Week of 28th: exhaust, shifter, springs, and spacers installed

Week of 2/4: complete color change wrap!

Heck yes! Modding is a big part of the fun of it. The last couple weekend cars were not ones that "needed" any mods and were pretty expensive when it came to mods also. This car fits the bill for sure

Porsche’s are definitely not fun to mod... way too much money. Plus the Non aspirated ones just way too little bang for $. I’m hoping someone on this forum can get the Boost up on the tunes safely...there should be no reason this engine should not be putting out low 20’s psi’s before going big turbo.

I’ve been holding out on engine upgrades primarily because I have yet to see some real improvements.

Agreed on the bang for the buck on Porsches. I also didn't feel the need for more power in them either. Heck, even my friends 987.2 is a blast on the track with stock power.

I intentionally haven't bought any engine upgrades because a) haven't driven it yet b) I want to see/feel what other upgrades do to the driving feel as in if they keep a more linear acceleration or change it entirely

Yep, got her! Got about 25 miles of non-open road. First impressions:

* brakes feel super firm
* steering is really nice
* fits and finishes are just right... simple, not over the top
* shifter throws are WAY too long and too effortless
* clutch throw is also way too long and light

Will have more to say once I get some open road. Very pleased so far.

Some "don't give a damn" tracwrap until the color change wrap goes on

Drive home:

My 4 year old LOVES it! First order was to put his seat in and go for a drive for ice cream:

The blue car seat is a really close match for the interior stitching. Was surprised at how close.

So far, two thumbs up!

Thanks for the tips. May be I'll join the white car club soon. *shifter throws are WAY too long and too effortless*, is there a SSK for this yet? I'd love to put a RE or CAE if there is one.

I have UUC waiting to go on. RE makes one also. I think CAE will be overkill for a street car though if they make one at all.

Updates from this weekend, just doing some of the simple stuff:

Not pictured, ASD delete harness. To be honest, i haven't driven the car enough to notice a difference, so might put it back on just to see how much of a difference it is.

All weather mats:

AFE Pro-Dry:

Storage net:

Slimline plate frame:

Came with M valve stem caps, but decided to leave them off for now. Dealer put nitrogen in the tires, so will keep the N caps until i swap out the air:

Slight disappointment was that my car came with Conti's. I don't have enough miles to complain at this point, but have not been happy with Conti's in the past. I'll report back after a few more miles:

Let us know about your impressions on the SSK and Ultimate clutch pedal!!

im on the fence about this,

You could try the BMS clutch stop for the travel

Will definitely report my impressions of the clutch pedal. The UCP also comes with a clutch stop, so I'll probably go ahead and throw that on. My comment in regards to travel also includes how far up the pedal travels. The UCP addresses this aspect as well

Francis,

What's the offset for stock wheels? Think the Volk 18x9.5 ET22 square set up fits?

Congrats on the new pickup! You've had quite the impressive collection so far

Love that the kiddo stuff was first...I'm sure his drives in the M2 will be lasting memories for you both!

I think the offsets on the 19s are 29/40. From what little I've looked at for 18" square, I think the offset is generally 28, but don't quote me

Thanks so much! It was a little sad to give up the Porsche GT cars but as soon as I got to see the little guy get so excited about being able to ride in "daddy's race car", all that went away

Installed the Ultimate Clutch Pedal tonight. No pics because there are plenty of threads and reviews already. I'll say that it is as advertised, MUCH MUCH better than stock for feel (read: pedal pressure), throw, and pedal height. I have it on the "race" setting (stiffest of the three settings), and to me it's not anything that I'd call stiff or heavy. It's still lighter than the GT4 pedal, which is the best I've ever driven. Would absolutely recommend it
