Is this the vampire edition? Looks like some fangs protruding out the front bumper.

I have yet to read anything negative about the electronic trick diff in the F8X and M5s. Why wouldn't you want it?

Does anyone else think that with this much width they've actually fitted the F80 rear axle like they did with the 1M and the e92 axle?

I was thinking the front and rear bumpers have a lot of similarity to the F80 with the vertical air vents on the ends.

Pretty wide though, nice!
Its the opposite of what is on the M3 and M4. As you know M has a thing for function over form so whilst the M3 and M4 have additional wings above the intake. The M2 places them here but they are curved to allow air to split through the curtains and to the brakes. Its something new, beneficial of course and keeps M design fresh and individual.

What's with the nasal hair looking bars behind the kidney grills? The new 3 series have that regrettable look as well and it's really annoying.

I'll get a new M2 or M3 but the looks leave a lot on the table for the next generation. I suppose that is the whole point...

Because i also do a lot drift fun with my car and i pull the fuse from ABS also. The electronic diff will use abs sensors to work properly. So i quess pull the fuse from the ABS will give lots of problems.

The more we can eleminate electronic trickery out the car the better the driving experience is. The car needs to be driven by people not electronics to have the best fun. So for me just a plain and simple mechanical LSD

Gotta remember that the crazy stuff they put on as camo messes with how the car is truly molded and shaped - they're making sure the car handles well with this wide of a tire at this point - the body panels will continue to be modified.

This car is going to be pretty. But will it deliver enough to justify a 10K premium over an M235 and be distinct enough NOT to jump to an M3/4? To me, that is the question.

I am hoping so, but it remains to be seen.

See the resemblance?
Picture this front in a production car and then you can complete the jigsaw.

I would die for those headlight graphics..if the front bumper look anything close to that we have a winner right here.

Will that hood or a spinoff of this make it over to the production version?

is it me, or do I see side "air curtain" things like the F8x, only bigger/longer in all of that camo? this car is the one I want, however, by the time this hits showrooms, itll be a used versus new situation; a used F8x, or a new M2?

I think it doesn't need to be new, it has to be good. But you have a good point!
