It all depends on the weather the next couple of days.

No. I did allow myself to get talked into that full maintenance package, but got the guy to reduce the price a little. Given my past history with cars, it is extremely unlikely I'll use anything other than the "free annual wiper blades" during the 36 months.

Thought I should chime in, since I sold mine with about 5k miles. For me, it was not the best daily driver for the kind of commute I had (roads, traffic, etc.). If only this car had an adaptive suspension and an S55 engine (BMW I hope you're listening!!), I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I just love the size of the 2 series.

Good! If you're talking about Ultimate Care+, it amazes me that the dealers mark up an item that's listed at $600 in the BMW website! I hope you paid that or less. In my last BMW purchase, they started the offer at $900!

i paid it....$600 bucks. just wanted a driver's experience that wouldnt make me cringe if i hit a nasty pothole or picked up a nail.

They were asking $600, and I got it down to $500. The poor F&I guy (not the title they use in BMW-land) was trying so hard, and I kept saying No No No, but I felt like I had to cave on something or perhaps he would get fired and I did not want to be responsible for that!

All things considered, I think there's very few used M2s for sale.

An earlier post indicated some website had 84 available nationally. How many have been imported so far? 15,000? There are probably less than 3% for sale. I would think that's far below average for any particular car.

I was considering picking up a 2018 as a track car, figured it will be cheaper than M3/M4 to track, went to a few local dealers, one had 11 in stock the other 8. Didn’t look like they were moving well, if at all. Was offered pretty good discount ‘to take home now’ but after test driving the 6 speed one, didn’t feel like exchanging $55k for it. Cold tires, but ride was jumpy, damping was pretty good but seemed nervous over cracks and bumps. Weird driving position too, while the seat was uncomfortable and felt crooked relative to my 9-3 grip, weak bolsters, I could not see myself being comfortable running multiple laps in it. Looking at Stingray now.

I'm seeing used with low miles at my dealership but not CPO. Why would they not be CPO at a dealership with so few miles?

Love my Stingray. If you track it get Z51 or Grand Sport. Even without Z51, I love how well it performs.

Was at BMW West Houston yesterday and they have an M2 Manual for $57k. Prompted me to look on AutoTrader and was very surprised to see a grand total of 9 M2s (7 new and 2 used) listed within 100 miles of Houston. There simply is a whole lot more demand around here than supply as the lowest list price is $57k.

Just one data point.

The dealer has to pay BMW to list the car as CPO, because it includes an extended warranty. If the car is relatively new and has low miles, plus remaining original factory warranty, the dealer has made the decision that the added cost for CPO status will not bring them enough of a higher resale price to justify it.
