Been lurking the M3/M4 forums. The M4 CS is supposed to be out a year before the M2 CS. There are spy shots of the M4 CS. Here's the thread with the M4 CS spyshots: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1287429
Looking at the shots there, here's what you can make out: 1, BMW is extremely unorganized. They've got 437M wheels on one front tire and 666M wheels on the other front tyre of the grey car. My OCD went through the roof. 2, One of the cars photographed has the GTS Hood and the other has the regular M4 hood. 3, All cars have ceramic brakes as standard, 4, The seats inside are regular M4 seats and not the GTS race seats, 5, The car still has the damn i-drive screen. The dash is covered so there could be changes there, 6, The rear spoiler is not like the regular M4 but that could be deliberate to mislead us, 7, One of the cars has regular looking exhaust tips and the other has the GTS tips. |

This will be at least $75K if not extremely limited. Well above that if limited like the M4 GTS.
Engine, suspension, seats, carbon fiber bits (splitter, aero)...Will it have a cage? I think it's at least $20K above base M2... |

I'm just not crazy about the m2. I don't LOVE the n55. Didn't shock me much more than a M235i did. The s55 on the other hand felt more special. More M like. And I don't care what numbers the m2 does on a short track or wherever blah blah. I always said the s55 should have been in the m2 from the start, now my dreams come true!

Series cars usually have higher residuals. The high residuals are a way to move cars and are basically incentives. High demand cars, especially newly-released M cars, tend to have poor residuals and/or MF.

I'm wondering about the odds of an even more hardcore M2 GTS before the end of the production cycle. About how long before the M4 GTS came out we knew about it?

Is Ynguldyn a BMW employee? I would have paid 3-5k more for a S55 but that's it. Car just doesn't make sense at mid 60 to low 70's or above, that's getting into P-car, C7 Z06, used GT-R territory.

A higher output B58 would have made more sense to me than a detuned S55.
The power delivery on the S55 probably not best suited for a short wheelbase car. |

This is nice and all, but I'm waiting for a 2025 M2 CSL GTS LCI M Sport i2 Hybrid. Suckers!
