As I was editing this a thought came to mind; what if they made a similar wheel without either the inner or outer spokes? The wheels would look a lot cleaner and it would be lightweight. Guess we just have to wait and see.

Very nice photoshop effort.

I actually think those look the best in all hyper silver. And in a 20 on the M2 would =

Maybe BMW just updated all the VIN specs to show Competition but contrary to what most of us believe right now, actually had 2 different cars in there the whole time:
1, The soon to be unveiled M2 Competition with basically M3/M4 parts,
2, Unknown M2 variant (Actual CS) with more tuning and development.

I really do not think BMW will be testing the M2 CS between now and right after the M2 competition is unveiled because that would just mean that more and more potential customers would just wait for the CS instead of forking out money on the M2 competition. BMW probably already has the M2 CS but will wait till closer to the actual unveil (next year) before we see too many spyshots. This would be very similar to the M3 CS which was built and ready for production months before anyone saw those staged spyshots.

Maybe we will need to start another dedicated thread that is not on the lines of "M2 CS = M2 Competition". Only time will tell.
I believe you have some info about this

What's the consensus on this being a reasonable daily driver? I consider an M2 reasonable, but not sure what we are expecting spring rate and ride height to be like.

Also does anyone know exactly what the M Sport seats are like? I had a '16 M2 and found the seats to be horrible for my build. The rest of the car was amazing, but it was a short love affair with those seats.

The options are:

437M or 788M wheels.

666M doesn't seem to be an option.

@mspeed..

Wheels themselves are an optional (oftentimes ) personalized cosmetic adjustment to a vehicle, similar to wearing cuff links.

I track my car a lot and don't like the lack of support with stock seats. I drove the M3/4 at PDE with sport seats and thought they were better but no pass through for harness belts....I will be ordering the new Sparco GT for my M2, even when I upgrade to the Competition:

With the option for M seats, will we finally get the option for a HUD and/or digital dash?

Probably too "upmarket" for BMW even though they come as an option on a decent amount of domestic entry level sports cars; Mustang & Camaro primarily.

The 666Ms are HOT - and would look even better on the M2C than they do on my F80 ZCP.

I agree, but they look like such a PITA to clean.

Oh, they suck to clean for sure...my pops' wheels on the M2 take 5 minutes a piece, and the 666Ms take...well longer than that. Having several beers nearby is a big help. But damn do they look good when they're clean.

They really do work on the F80, which is a much bigger car than the F87:
