I like donington gray too, but I feel as if it's more of a silver than a gray. I wish it was just a tad bit darker.

Here's some more real world shots of LBB, this time on a cloudy day. I can see some of the Atlantis color, and it also looks a bit like Laguna Seca Blue in a couple of the pictures.

That colour is very average in my opinion. It certainly won't be making my short list.

I still have high hopes for donington grey in the flesh, failing that silverstone II

Wait till you see it in the sun before making that decision IMO. I've seen both and LBB is stunning, one of my favorite new colors next to Austin Yellow.

It does look a bit like LSB in these pics. But even still, not liking it so much... I prefer both EB and LMB

LBB is my choice UNLESS...

BMW brings in a decent red for the M2. Melbourne is over played. It's on EVERYTHING. Imola or even a retro Mugello Red, since they brought back that name for the X5M interior, would be great.

Mugello is between Hellrot and Henna. I had a '95 M3 for 3 months before it got stolen. (never recovered). Couldn't order another because that was when BMW and everyone else went to 2 stage paints. Mugello became Hellrot and Porsche Guards Red has never been the same. IMO

That would be awesome if Mugello made a return to the lineup. (Hint Hint)

Agreed on the red.
Imola red was possibly my favourite, quite liked Hellrot red as well though I won't lie!
Friend had an ///M in that colour, was an absolute stunner.
Even Dakar yellow would make me hot under the collar

I'm starting to lean towards Austin Yellow if they offer it, but I still love LBB so much

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about how AMAZING this gray will look on the M2. Wow.

In light, it's like a liquid silver, in the dark, it's a full bodied gunmetal. Oh gosh, it's so pretty.

Every car I've owned so far has been silver, white or gunmetal (aka THE 3 most common colors you see on the road along with black). Don't get me wrong, I love my Sparkling Graphite coupe, but with the next car, I'm absolutely dead set on loud color (orange, yellow or blue).

I will say Donnington Grey is going to be a really easy color to keep clean.

Here in LA

EVERY BMW is Black, TiAG, or Silver Gray. The ones that amaze me are the Silver cars with Gray interior. (Just hang yourselves already if you're that depressed !!!)

But dealers order what sells. I'd make a bad GM 'cause all of the cars would be lively colors. It'd be a museum. A great looking museum.

So you're telling those people that their opinion is wrong? Nice.

As a present owner of an Estoril Blue 335i (and happy with my color choice every single day since picking up the car last year)... I really like the new grey. Better than LB blue, I think. At least on the X5; remains to be seen how they turn out on the M2 in the flesh...
