Just Installed Seibon Carbon Hood On my BSM M2...Pics
Unbelievable Fitment, No modifying the hood at all, all holes perfectly placed. Installation took less than 45 mins ...
Matches the mirrors, next I'd like to get the Vorsteiner Lip and I think Im done with exterior Mods

I love carbon fiber hoods but even when I had my e30 nothing fit well. Looks slightly better here.

I am not sure I like the transition from the front nose of car to hood. ? look better with carbon fiber on nose too? Hood to fenders transition is ok....but the lines on the front are not quite right.

Thanks for the compliments...
I do plan on painting most or all it... 8 The fitment is 100% dead on..We were finished once it got dark so we could got fully adjust it. The hood-->bumper transition are the round hooks you turn. It takes a while to find the "sweet spot" where they latch AND stay perfectly aligned and the hood isn't to far back Once I have a second set of hands, we can move the bumper:hood closer...This should also closeup the fender gaps. To people saying it doesn't line up, Im not a body guy...Worked w cars my whole life and the only bw I ever did was sand and prime lol...So cut me a few days to get it right LOL

Thanks for all the Compliments...
To those that say it's not fitting well. Could you please ellaborate and maybe some advice on how to move it to its perfect...Again I'm not a body guy, I just made sure the gaps were even and straight and obviously flush with the other panel. Should the hood be closer to the bumper?

Fitment looks good. I think people saying the fitment is off because the carbon weave is an eyesore. Once you paint match the entire hood it would look best imo.

If this isn't for aesthetics and you are going to paint it anyway then what's the point? Isn't the weight difference between this and the stock aluminum hood negligible? Like 20-40 lbs?

I meant that the color transition from the front of the car to the hood did not look right to me, while the color transition of the hood to the fenders is fine. I did not mean the alignment looked off.
If you are leaving it carbon fiber (unpainted) I meant that it may look better if you get the front of the car, above the lights and around the kidney grill, wrapped with matching carbon fiber look. Mike
