That said, this will be a car I own for the next decade, so I'm not concerned about saving a few hundred dollars on a car that's this expensive to begin with. I'm well past the days of modding my car and trying to squeeze a few dollars of savings in the process. I now value convenience and OEM quality above the alternatives.
I don't care what you are doing with your car or how much you are willing to throw away. I'm only telling you the fact that you challenged me on. My way is OEM quality and OEM parts for $115, not $400 or $2xx that you are willing to throw away. Convenience? it took me total less than 5 minutes to swap those out. good for you that hundreds of dollars don't matter to you.

What? No mods? I'm not really into 'modding' either, but it seems like 98% of bimmer fans/owners are into it - I may have to do the front and rear reflector 'deletes' just so I don't get kicked off of here for keeping my forthcoming M2 stock!

Omg, own a car for a decade??? I'm lucky if I own one for 12 months! Life's too short to own one car that long.

I've owned 13 cars in 16 years. 8 of those cars were new BMWs. I never said this would be my ONLY car for the next decade.

Or just wait a few months after you get the car and go with aftermarket mix and match. More unique.

All good man. You do you. I'm just not into modding anymore with wife, kids, job, mortgage.. Just not something I care about. However, here is a link to my previous M car which I did mod. As time goes on, people change:

I'll likely do the front amber reflector delete as well. I hate those. They look terrible.

The rear ones actually don't bother me.

So tint and front reflector delete. Done for the next decade. I'll sell it after it hits 100k miles.

That z4 looks nice!

As I said, $115 will get you OEM black grills versus $400. Same exact thing but one coats hundreds more.

It's odd that you don't mind spending extra few hundred dollars for no reason yet you still have kids$$, Mortgage$$$, and still working to make money.

If I really wanted to blow few hundreds, I'll tip my bartender or donate to save tigers. I wouldn't want to give away a penny more to the BMW corporate.

I mean, it adds $3 per month to my payment. I'm not losing sleep over it.

Also in other news, I have been told the M Performance rear diffuser is out of stock in HQ. I haven't even been given an ETA

I guess that explains it then. Looks like I'll have to buy one from a vendor and throw it on myself. No biggie, but was hoping to just take delivery of the car with everything already done.
