New Jersey, I call dibs.

Or M2RICAN because I love my country so much.

Seriously. If anyone in jersey takes my plate I will unleash my freedom upon you. Jk. But seriously please don't.

A straightforward approach in your choice of colors available here! Then, debadge the decklid and all set!

I personally find these plates somewhat lame. Why anyone would want to get a plate that reiterates what is already written on the car is beyond me. Imagine a Camry driver with a plate that reads: TOYCMRY. It's so silly- as if people don't already know it's a Toyota or a BMW or a Porsche, etc.

Sorry you don't enjoy. The idea I posted was to debadge to clean up the decklid. As you have to have a plate anyway, and a debadged look is desirable, this accomplishes two goals. Matter of taste, I suppose....

To go with the license plate frame that says the same thing as well.

I think PYRAT2 would be awesome - it's not ostentatious at all and people who know some stuff about the 1M and M2 development will smile.

+1. That's about the only one I've liked so far. But prob not enough for me to bother haha. I'll let the Austin Yellow paint do the talking

Austin Yellow will look very nice.

I hope I can get a nice dark grey - not sure what they will offer.

Regardless, these types of plates have to be done carefully and well considered, otherwise as you pointed above, it can be cheesy/lame.

On the cars that I have an EU plate up front I usually follow German rules then get the back US plate to match. Since BMW is based in Munich it would be M- first, so you guys could play around with that. The RS3 I'm hoping comes here, I'm thinking of using an EU plate to break up the front grille a bit. In that case IN-RS396T would work well bc they are based in Ingolstadt, for instance and it's typically 2 letters followed by numbers once you get past the city code. Dad's R32 we did WOB-2294 for Wolfsburg and his car # out of the 5,000 they brought here.

My current plate reads BMW 1M and it's not repetitive since there is no 1 on the trunk...just the M.
And of course folks ask what it is...& I enjoy filling them in. Can't share my planned M2 plate yet.

In the UK series section I posted that M2 UDM (ultimate driving machine) was available and just £250 next week it was gone!

Mine will be... FU2

Seen it on an Estonian 7-series during Gumball. I hope the locals here don't know what it means.
