Evening all, recently joined the forum. I was invited along to my dealership as my current z4 was coming up to 3 years old. Been eyeing a M2 for a while now, finally bit the bullet. 2 months ago they wanted 6k and £700 a month. Ended up with 4K down and £606 and that's black sapphire, Harmon Karbon, wireless phone, sunguard tints, dct gearbox, sapphire black 3 years servicing and guard protect. £51k list price, so think ended up with a decent deal in the end. Been told car should be ready for end of Sept, does that seem right?

I hope so, fingers crossed no delays this time.

Think I will fit the m performance exhaust over the next 6 months, just need to save some cash, doing it for £2,200 including the fitting at the moment, but no Idea how long that will last

Cheapest found so far in Scotland was £2200 with fitting at the moment. Not in a massive rush so will keep looking, if anyone knows of any good places for sourcing BMW performance parts that be great

Question as this an LCi is the revisions that important?

Appreciate the new dials, LED's, (front & rear) and dash layout are nice but personally as it is all cosmetic with nothing (major) mechanical, I am struggling to justify the cost between pre & post LCi.

I ended up thinking with my wallet and I am picking up a delivery miles Jun17 next week and i am about £100 a month less with a similar deposit?

All about choice but that £100+ a month goes toward paying for the MPE, CF bits...etc

Not overly but I like new stuff / very latest models etc, I do same with my MacBooks and phones, same with trainers of white and get dirty I would go buy a new pair.... think I have got issues 🙈

I quite like the digital dash and subtle tweaks but your right in that maybe not worth extra £100, sounds like you got a cracking deal.

Other than that I still hadn't seen many in the roads at all and no more than 1 in the dealers at any time.
Placed my order last year originally and timing has fallen for LCI coming in Sept all being well! v excited!

Yes same here not seen many on the roads only 3 so far since they came out.

Christ, factory order in 4 weeks. You'll be getting hate mail from the main M2 board!

I know one person there has been waiting .... 18 months! I think she is based in France.

Good grief.

PS huge congrats, good times ahead.

Placed my order last weekend and was estimated 6-8 weeks for delivery. I was expecting at least 6 months!

4 weeks is insane for any factory build!

Tell me about, ordered on mon 14th of Aug in the dealer 14th of sept, my previous car from them took 12 weeks. So honestly I have no idea why that so fast or how I have seen others that are still waiting 2 months before me. Maybe my dealer gets a preferential slot... who knows but am like an excitable kid right now, know it's there just want it ha

In all honesty just great timing for you. Looks like you managed to jump into a build slot allocataion maybe right at the final time you could spec amend it. The lead time for that actual slot for the dealer and prior customer was likely about another 3-4 months.

Really enjoying the car so far.... sounds great and looks ace. Need to get that 1200 miles done pronto. Anyway, couple of really quick snaps. I will get some proper ones taking soon with a nice back drop, some great places in scotland for that.

Questions, anyone know how to silence the reverse parking sensor noise (thats annoying) other than that all good :-)

Shame. If you had then the annoying reverse radar not turning off is a simple fix. Keep reading the link as someone works out the wiring for the switch without the camera
