Does somebody know if M2C Mirrors are just a new cap on the same base or if it is whole new parts ? Is retrofitting a simple cover ?

It's the entire assembly. Retrofitting should be somewhat straightforward because the doors/mounting points have no changed between the cars.

I'm still trying to figure out if those are actual carbon fiber or a replica carbon made of plastic. They seem too inexpensive to be real CF.

The autoID ones look better; have more contouring on the inner mirror section to give a better illusion of elongation.

yeah it's weird actually so is LBB. I emailed them and there was supposed to be stock 2 weeks ago.

m-mirrors look huge on the M2. Disproportionate imo. Personally I'd stick with the standard ones

1k-1k5 USD range is reasonable.

2k is a bit steep but still will do it.

CF over plastic. I asked the same on a thread in the cosmetic forum and IND confirmed that in the thread.
