Update: Dealer said prices for exhaust and coilovers are without labor so sounds about right now.
He's trying to find out labor prices now, hopefully not too crazy. |

Just saw in the Tischer thread that BMW has blocked ordering of these due to stock levels....nice going BMW, par for the course with this disaster of a launch.

This makes me think that they are producing more M2's than originally planned. No reason to try to build up inventory if the car is going to be super limited for the next year.

...or they just needed to increase production of the M Performance parts. It is easier to estimate sales of the car over sales of M Performance parts.

Notably, the coilovers were listed at $2980 (parts only, not including installation). |

I was really impressed by the M Performance alcantara steering wheel (Geneva motor show). It both looked and felt brilliant although the aluminium strips should be replaced by carbon fibre in my view. This may seem strange but the standard steering wheel feels plasticky... too smooth and shiny.

Only if port installed which I guess is the topic of the thread, ha. If you get it dealer installed you can keep them. Stock suspension will offset the coilovers nicely if you sell it since it's M3/4 suspension and you can always find a buyer for that. Pay more for labor at the dealer but it's a wash if you sell.

M Performance Steering Wheel III is about the same price as the old one without display.
Don't have any US prices but in the UK for example the Steering Wheel II is 749 GBP for the M4 and the III costs 649 GBP for the M2. |

I wonder if we could keep the stock blue stitched boot and only install the MP shift knob.
Or the M2 version will come with the blue stitches boot as well? |
