M Performance flaps open

Is there any known way to keep the flaps in track mode all the time? I turned the control module off thinking they would stay in the current position and they just stay closed.

Where is the module to unplug? It's super annoying having to press the button every time I hop in the car.

There are videos on YouTube for the M3/4, pretty sure it is the same. Open the flaps with the controller, go under the car in the exhaust areas and unplug the modules on both sides, flaps stay open.

The module is in the trunk. I will post a picture this evening.

Just pull out this plug. You must open the flaps first.

Ahh! Knew there was a module in there for the exhaust. Good to know. Thanks!

Couldn't you just hit the off switch once you open the flaps?

Just picked mine up. Can I get more detail please?

Start car, put in Sport+, go into trunk(where in trunk?), unplug while car is running and in Sport+.

Right?

Tried that on mine unfortunately the exhaust flaps would close as soon as I hit the switch. Ended up just unplugging the harness with the flaps open.

Can the same thing be done with the new version of MPE with red button?
When you unplug the module the flaps stay open?

I don't have new version but harness looks the same so I would think you should be able too.

Yes. Works - just put to track mode. Shut car. Unplug module.

And valves opened.
