About 1/2 of the OEM price with the exchange program.

Should be quite popular then if you just find the right channels to market them!

Honestly, if a better designed mirror cap could be made for the 2 Series mirrors, I think you'd have yourself a winner. That has to be a way to better mimic the M3/4 mirrors, at least the cap.

However, if a right-price bolt on option came to market, I wouldn't be opposed.

Such as...? I know a couple of guys in the US would be interested in helping to distribute them, but still 500 or so sets is not small...

If I can have say 200 sets as pre-order, then I'll do it lol

How about a better mold for a cover? My issue with the ones I have is that I think they should be more three dimensional but I'm not sure how they would clip in if they were to fully cover the mirror to look less obvious. I've put a lot of thought into this since I'm one of those M mirror obsessed persons.

I have looked into that solution, but I doubt it will work. The lines flowing out from the folding attachment part is different from the M mirrors and the size and shape of the lens are limiting factors as well. Not to mention the stem is shorter on the M2...

So, to make it look nice and OEM like, the entire thing has to be changed.

I wish I felt like buying a pair of the "M" mirror caps for the 2 Series.

I think there is a way to make those caps look better and mold into the mirror. You would have to reduce the angle of the "nub" and then added some extra trim that would extend down the inner side of the mirror to make it look more uniform. The way I've thought about attaching that piece would be a little bit for 3M body tape.

I may need to look at both mirrors (M3/4 and OE 2 series) up close again.

That is a genuine M-Mirror. The linked caps are completely different, just a regular cap with the ugly dwarf lobe added.

I forgot to ask, how is the fitment of your covers? Any good? So essentially the only problem with these covers is that the side that faces the driver is CF also and doesn't match the matte black color of that side correct?

Fitment is perfect. I have gloss black so idk how the CF look. I just don't like that the mold imprint is visible on the driver's side but it's still gloss black.
