If it's not for you, you should just keep a comment to yourself. It serves no purpose to tear down the brand or to make fun of those of us with the money and interest in buying one of these.
You are likely the same brain-trusts that didn't want the 1M because it's not a "True" M car. Did you buy a M4 GTS? take your pick. Plenty of good cars to go around. Thank Munich that we don't all want the same thing.

I'm looking forward to getting mine....

My thoughts exactly. I got one and love it! You will too.

Because they all ARE 1 of 150... natch.:confused

Very few vehicles are actually give number plates signifying exactly what number that is of the production run.

The M4 GTS is DOUBLE the price of the M2 ZL9 and still doesn't get individually numbered plates.

No, the suspension and the exhaust you can add yourself for less money.

It's really just the manual seats.
Yeah because it's "UNPOSSIBLE " to replace seats

I'm looking at it from a point of view of how they do art prints and there'd be a 1/150 and. 2/150, etc. it has happened with some very exclusive cars too. Not all 150 will be the first one, that's all.

No argue, I think a PE is a cool car.

Agreed. I bought one and absolutely love the car. Everyone that has viewed the car loves the car as well. At the Xpel shop today they had a regular M2 and the exhaust just blew it out of the water on the Performance Edition. The car is a track car out of the box with full warranty. This car is so much better in person rather than pictures on the internet.

Mine arrived just the other day! Neighbor owns an m2 as well. Very interested to see how they compare. Such a great car. Must feel giddy about having a limited edition of a(n) (un)limited production car.

It's $6k for install and labor of the exhaust/suspension. The "base M2" is $53k... $59k with these $6k in "mods". They're selling the PE for $62k. It's a $3k premium to get the perfect car. I was glad to pay the $4k premium because:

1) I wanted one now
2) I wanted a white one
3) I wanted a manual
4) I wanted manual seats
5) I like the single zone climate
6) I wanted no other options
7) I liked the fact that it's 70lbs lighter

The car drives incredible for OEM. The mods I'll probably ever do to this car are camber plates.

Yeah I don't blame you. I like all of those except I don't want one for another 6 months and I don't want white I really wish they had done a unique color.

The school is the remaining $2.5K. If you do the math there is no premium

I've been wondering about the official weight on the MPE. Is the 70lbs figure from BMW?

Yeah I passed too because of the color then I set my sights on the CS only to find out later it would most likely be DCT only. Now I'm looking at a LCI.

I found a M2 PE. White color with BMW Motorsport Strip, Carbon fiber option. The Dealer put Dinantronics performance tuner stage 1. Should I buy this car? Also, since it's only 150 car productions, will it be collectable car?

Doubtful. You should buy the car if you want manual seats for some reason. If not then I wouldn't bother.

Actually, no one knows, but you sure shouldn't buy a car thinking that it will be.

Buy a car like this is you want something unique with a few extra options. There are several in this thread who have them and seem pretty happy.

The car I started this thread about, is long gone, BTW.....but I'll be visiting the dealer next week (hopefully) to pick up my decidedly non PE M2.
