Front and Rear Center Jack Points

Apologize if this has been asked and answered, but does anyone have pictures of where to jack up the M2 from front and rear? I know about the 4 plastic side jacking points behind each wheel well. Instead, the idea is to lift from the front center (and then rear center) and use jackstands with the plastic side jack points. I've seen a picture of a rear center jack point on a 235, but M2 may different due to the differential. Hopefully someone will be switching to summer tires in the next few days and will be kind enough to take pictures.

The front jack point is pretty obvious. Take a look under the car. It is a long stretch though. I drive up onto some wooden ramps to make this easier.

There is no good rear spot as far as I'm concerned. In theory you can do this on the part of the diff that doesn't have fins. I think there is a pic floating around but I don't see how that is feasible without something like a 4x4 post which seems unstable. You can try picking up from where the control arms amount. That is a big beefy area and might pick up both sides. I will try it sometime.

If you are just changing tires and you aren't sticking body parts under the car, just use the plastic things on the side. Jacking up from the front picks up bothe the front and back as the same time.

You really need to stick to those 4 jack points. You are correct, you cannot go near the diff like you can on some BMW's. There is a front center jack point that is pretty obvious you can use but again the 4 points are best. I do a lot of my own work on cars so I bought the quick jack system which is a portable lift, it is great because it is portable and lifts the cars at their intended lift points and is very safe. 1300 bucks but if you do your own wrenching they are well worth it.
