M2 configurator live [EU]
For those interested, I just came across the complete M2 configurator here:
http://www.bmw.be/vc/ncc/xhtml/start...delRangeId=F87 I think it's the first EU website on which it went live(?). Details for the American market may vary. |

Good find.
Here it is in French: http://www.bmw.be/vc/ncc/xhtml/start...1#MODEL_ENGINE Missing in this Belgian configurator (but available when ordering in Belgium):

Someone in another thread confirmed this yesterday since the ordering guides showed the same option code between the two vehicles. Yes, a little disappointing, but at this point I've already done upgrades to my M235i that I would carry over. I'm just hoping BMW NA doesn't decide on one massive package that includes everything and it's all or nothing.

No signs of EDC. Also kind of a shame that headlight washers are standard if I'm reading correctly. I really hate those things. Also don't know why they insist on making CA optional.

Headlight washers are always standard equipment in cold weather countries. Not saying it won't be in all regions though.

Puts even more distance towards the M235i IMHO.

I rather not have those things standard and have optional performance oriented equipment.
Does anyone know if it has a oil temp guage? There was some talk that the electronic display can be toggled to view an electronic oil guage/ temp reading. Does anyone have confirmation? |

Thanks for the link, hadn't spotted it yet.
It's weird though, the internet shows € 3.970,00 (including 21% BTW) for the DCT, but we've been charged € 3.970,00 + 21% BTW = €4.803,70. All the other options are priced exactly the same. Time to check with the dealer about which price is correct! |

However, according to the Belgian configurator M-DCT on M2/M3/M4 = 3,970 EUR (VAT included).

Not interested in NAV so happy for it to be an option in the US with a lower overall MSRP.
Kind of disappointed about the EDC. Even on this kind of car, would have been nice to pick the modes. Also.. does this mean there's no way to turn off rev matching? |

Or not.
I shop E92 M3's and BMW 997's while deciding/waiting on the M2. Nav doesn't make much difference. Everyone uses their phones anyway. That will become even more prevalent. Of course, if you want nav anyway, what the heck. I was glad I had it when I did my last ED. |
