Your standard answer to the age question should be: "Actually... I stopped counting after 29."

Still a kid at heart. Dedication: at my wedding dinner many moons ago, each big table got the name of a corner of the Spa-Francorchamps race circuit (rather than the usual suspects: names of classical musicians, painters, etc.). Guess where I was sitting.

43, married, one 13 year old son, a lady that is total girly, have a professional well paying job, and loves cars more than my Ducati riding husband...therefore bought an M2 after my first BMW was a 550i GT that felt too slow

Not sure how to vote here....I am 51 and drive a 997/911 at Mosport....the car is actually for my wife (age 42, lucky me) who learned to drive on the Autobahn! Best wife, best BMW, age is "interesting" but irrelevant.

It's interesting because it shows BMW hit its target demographic - younger people who are getting this as their "first M car" type of thing. I bet if you did the same survey with the M4, the graph would look pretty much opposite to this one.

I jumped the gun and started the M addiction with my Z4MC three years ago.

39 yo last month. It does seem like a car for 30 yearolds. I can't imagine having the cash flow to justify one in my twenties. I was still slaving away in residency and my wife would have killed me. I did see a resident at our hospital driving a Nissan GTR last week. It was probably one of the nicest cars in the doctors parking lot. Next to the Mercedes AMG SL65.

Same boat here, 2 years into practice. No wife, no kids, no student loans... I guess I can afford one. I would not have been able to afford one as a resident though.

Cheers.

Interesting that BMW is targeting this model at a younger demographic.
Here's hoping your M2 lasts a really long time then!
Keep an eye out for me in your rear view - I'm not TOO far back.

guurl, so true! I'm 34 and this car feels totally appropriate for a 30-year old. plus I feel like life is so much better in your 30's. you're wiser, you've got more money, better taste, and overall more class (at least most dudes) .
Or you could be like me.

That sounds like me except no kids or husband and a bit younger. Lol

Maybe I'll catch up one day! Oh wait I only attract bad men.
