Not if you want to sit in the true drivers seat.

That's one of my biggest gripes with the M2...standard depressing cave-like black interior.

Very nice! Would love to do this myself. Any pics of full rear seat installed?

Don't they weigh(much) more than M2 seats and what about a price estimate?

Anybody?

Cheers

now to source some m4 seats at least around here is pricey and still relatively rare...
Do you know what kind of modification is required for the rear?

It is posted on the forums in multiple places somewhere I remember it...

Here is one of them.

Rears:
You cut out a rear bar in the bottom seat and then wedge it in. You also need to swap over the rear seat brackets which attach to split/fold sections as the M4 brackets are slightly different. And you reused the M2 outer side edges, which you just pop out to get access to them.
They suggest removing the front seats first to give you more room to work on the rear.

Fit the front seats at the end and swap across the M2 control module located under the front seats.

Hi Guys, first post on here and looking for some help.

I have just fitted M4 front seats to my M2, loving the look they are great. To add a bit more detail on the fronts, the M4 seats I managed to get are heated, lumbar, memory jobs and my M2 seats were the same, so I literally just swapped them over, I left everything the same, didn't swap the seat modules or anything. There is only one plug on the bottom of the seats and that is the big yellow one that has been mentioned. Literally took me 20 mins to do the front seats

The rears are not quite so straight forward and this is where I need a bit of help. The rear seat backs are easy, simply swap the two mounting brackets over from the original seats and bolt them in, job done.

The M4 seat base though is tricky, I have cut off the extra bar at the rear of the seat as per the description in 'David51's diagrams, but the base just doesn't seem to want to go in. Can anyone that has done this mod, help me out please?

Thanks.

Did you end up figuring it out. I’ve seen some swap over the leather onto the OG M2 cushion.

Almost fitted the rear seats. Had the passenger side clipped in but of course I can get it yet. Center will never be clipped in.
