The M2 will be my fourth BMW but I've never been turned on to the BMW CCA and was just looking at their website. I think I might join. Just curious, how many here are members and what do you get out of it?

I joined and continue to belong for the rebate when you buy a new BMW (need to be a member for a year before your eligible) the $500 rebate on my M2 will pay for almost 10 years of membership. You get a nice magazine about 6 times a year, you also are eligible to buy tickets for their pretty cool car raffle. This year they are raffling off a M4 GTS, M2 loaded with M accessories and one M235i for every 1,000 tickets sold. They also have several discounts, Xpel, 15% off of BMW M school (planning on going), and a host of other discounts. I think if you love the brand and plan on buying more in the future it makes sense for the rebates alone, the rest of the stuff are a nice additional bonus.

BMW CCA is a WIN!!! Great car club and you get a lot of side benefits like rebates on new car purchases. The magazine itself is worth the membership fee! A lot of dealers will give you 10% on parts too!

I joined BMW CCA in 1993 because I found the Roundel magazine at my local dealer and it had ads for used vehicles in it. That was before the days of auto trader and cars.com.

I sure hope it's not your fourth new BMW , you've missed out on about 2K in rebates then !

Let's see, why join the club ?
Similar people ?
Fun activities like social events , driving tours , autocross , HPDE events , Christmas dinners, Street Survival events for Teen drivers , and concours events in your local area.

A monthly magazine dedicated to BMWs

10-15 % Discounts on gear and parts at vendors online and your local dealers

$500-1000 Rebates on new BMWs
Assistance from BMW CCA Ombudsmen

BMW CCA Oktoberfest - Monterrey 2016
BMW CCA Oktoberfest - New Orleans 2017

If you are a curmudgeon and you don't want to do anything with people locally, you never buy parts or BMW items, and you don't do any driving activities of any sort, and you don't have time to read a monthly magazine - If you don't do anything but say, buy or lease a new BMW every 3-4 years , you would put money back in your pocket as a club member from the rebate program.

Join the club for $50 year and get $500-1000 or more back when you buy a new BMW.

Lease a vehicle for 3 years and pay BMW CCA annual dues of 3 X 50 = $150 and get back $500-1000 after you buy your new car.

I can't believe how many people that lease and re-lease that haven't figured out what a good deal this is.

There are some dealers that are ahead of the curve that actually buy a BMW CCA membership for their customers to get them started out in the club and on the way to being a returning customer that is eligible for a rebate.

And don't forget Tech Talk with Mike Miller. That alone is worth the membership!

I'm signing up. If someone wants to quickly shoot me their member number I'll enter them as someone who referred me. That will put you (and me) in a drawing for M Schools at the BMW Performance Center.

I'm about to sign up as well. The M2 will be my fourth BMW. Wish I knew about this three cars ago. Better late than never I suppose. If someone wants to PM their BMWCCA number, I will enter it in as a referral.

By the way, for those who ride motorcycles, looks like the motorcycle discount does not even require being a member for more than a year.

Only if you are in to changing your fluids per a schedule that was outdated about 15 years ago

Now the hack mechanic on the other hand.....

Seriously, the magazine is great, the rebate is great - the entire club is great!

Agreed on the 'outdated' schedule, however, that outdated schedule has helped me maintain and keep in top shape 4 older BMWs. In addition his knowledge, quick response and excellent advise has provided me with solutions to several quirky stuff over the years.

I was one of the raffle winners in 2006. Took the cash equivalent of $31,000... got myself a 2007 Z4 M coupe.

I was going to add that the raffle winners are REAL PEOPLE.

A member in my chapter won a partial car last year.
