M2 aftermarket rims

we purchased a M2 convertible in 2020 and since then we noticed the wheels would make a clicking sound when turning. My dealer yesterday said that our rims are not BMW hubcentric and need to be replace to the original rims. Can anyone help me understand if this is correct? Thanks
