OG Carbon buckets Retrofit, is it possible?

Hey fellow M2 CS owners,

Has anyone tried fitting the original BMW carbon buckets from the new M2/M3/M4 into a CS with Manual seats?

My dad is getting a 50 jahre M4 and doesn't like the seats. Thinking of getting the opportunity to exchange...

Cheers

Not sure if the carbon buckets are manual or motorized (not even sure if manual carbon seats exist), but you would probably have to modify the wiring or code the car for them to work properly. Also not sure if a manual seat car already has the wiring for power seats to plug into. Usually, the entire harness connects through the yellow airbag plug so you might have some luck there.

They do physically fit though. @mr.saugmotoren on Instagram has done it in his 2er.

Here's a video of a guy putting in carbon buckets in his F80 as well.
