I was at the Philly Auto Show today and can vouch for his opinion. This car is amazing in person. Pictures do not do this car justice!

These pics look awesome. I'm glad you were able to back away from the car a little. All these other close up fish eye type pics aren't doing this color or the car justice.

Imagine some classy tints, carbon fiber pieces and blacked out trim and reflectors on an AW M2.

This 8s also the best I have seen the wheels look!

Real world it's not "a few thousand less" let's be serious. RWD for both, comparably equipped the M235 price paid is significantly cheaper for now at least.

Right but even a fully loaded RWD M235, everything but LSD and M performance so I mean just tech, leather, etc the standard stuff. The apply what 6% for a pretty common discount these days? They're just not as close in price as you'd think going MSRP to MSRP bc you'd have to be pretty damn foolish to pay full price for the M235.

You would be crazy to buy a 235 without a discount. I drove one yesterday and they are selling it for 52k. I'll be spending 54 and getting the m2. Not going to lie though I really enjoyed the 235. Coming from an e92 m3 zcp I have driven the 1m a lot as well as the m4. This was my 1st time in the 235. It was great. The m2 will drive the prices down a ton. I would like to scoop up a 235 later down the road to compliment my m2.

I think AW with M Performance CF kit will make it really awesome. I don't see any PDC on the front bumpers.

AW would be good if the car had a CF roof and CF aero. But for me, it's still LBB for this car

This is exactly what my buddy said when he saw it in DC - really didn't care for it online, seems to really like it after seeing it in pics.

Was it locked? He said it was in DC...I was wondering what the inside felt and looked like in comparison to the regular 2er...
