agreed proper prep work will be needed when you re apply a coating after it's worn out.

What are your thoughts on sequence of glaze, sealant, wax?
Sounds like some say it should be Glaze, Sealant, Wax, but others say Sealant, Glaze, Wax. |

I have Modesta Bc-04 coated on my car. I got M2 which is a maintenance/ detail spray, M3 which is conditioner, and M4 a water spot remover. As a detail spray or drying aid, I use Kenotek which plays well with coatings. You can use M2 as a detail spray but for the amount you get and how expensive it is, it wasn't economical for me to use so.

I was told not to use a shampoo with any wax ability. So I imagine something like this one instead.

You will want to use a soap that does not have any added gloss enhancers or wax. Just one that will clean. CarPro Reset, Shine Supply also makes a coating safe soap.
The reason for this is to not "Gum Up" the coating structure with the wax or enhancers. Bruce |

Good to see you selling Collinite 845. I was lucky enough to be introduced to this wax by the detailer while working as the dealership lot boy in highschool, pre-internet days. And I still haven't personally come across a better wax.
Anyways, what product do you recommend for taking off track day rubber marks on a dark mineral gray car? And, last question, do you have any recommendations for protecting the wheels from brake dust/rubber marks and making them easier to keep clean. Ideally, I'd like a product that can last as long as the Collinite, which I typically only apply twice a year, early spring and late fall. Thanks in advance. |
