Classic BMW in Plano, TX sells at MSRP. I estimate they get around 4 allocations a month given when I was able to order mine and where I was in line. Last I knew, they have a decent size waiting list.

I traveled 850 miles to get mine for ED MSRP from El Paso BMW (CA - Ismael Rodriguez). El Paso BMW will not sell over MSRP. They even sold an M4 GTS for MSRP. When I picked up the M2 I spoke to the Sales Director, Alex Navarro, who told to that the auto group that owns El Paso BMW has several other brands and holds fast on the policy of not selling over MSRP. He said the only exception he is aware of is when their Lexus dealership sold a Lexus LFA for over sticker. Lexus only made 500 LFAs.

Just got off the phone with them. They said they got permission from the auto group that runs them to sell the M4 GTS for 10K over.

He said it was a one time thing and that was the only car that they sold over MSRP.

I spoke to a person called Juan from new sales less than 45 minutes ago and he said they do have a policy to never charge over MSRP but the auto group that runs them did permit them to charge 10K over MSRP on the M4 GTS as a one time thing.

I even pointed him to this thread to which he said that the person who said they did not charge over MSRP on GTS might be mistaken.

The white M2 that has been sitting on the showroom at Classic BMW is now for sale at MSRP, it does have a lot of M perf parts installed though so the sticker is high.

So this thing is really for sale??? I know it's been on Car Gurus for quite a while. Never saw it on th dealer website until now. It's about time they part with the damn thing instead of using it as eye candy!

What a shame.

I'm not sure if anything has changed, but when I ordered my M2 in July they said they were not selling it. My salesman said someone came in and offered over MSRP to buy it but they told him they don't sell over MSRP and were not selling it.

Since it is listed on the web site under their new inventory, I guess they might like to keep it there and advertised to draw people in. That said, I just looked at their new inventory and they also have a manual Alpine White listed as well. I'm not sure what's up with that.

I called to ask about that black one. It's 5k over. But there are so many useless options on that car... the MSRP is already 63k.
