Rear Cup Holder Insert (part #52-20-7-353-211)
I recently learned about a rear cup holder insert that looks like it fits in the small plastic cubby tray in the middle of the M2's rear bench. It's part #52-20-7-353-211. Here's an example on getbmwparts:
https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...er-52207353211 Does anyone have any experience with this? The fitment indicator doesn't show the M2, but it does show very similar cars like the M240i and other recent 2 series coupés. My guess is they all share the same rear bench (or at least the plastic tray piece)? And, for what it's worth, I don't like allowing food/drink in my M2. But I do take the kids around on a weekly basis in the rear. They often have waters with them that bounce around or end up on the rear floor. I'd love to find a way for them to safely stash their waters for the next tight bend in the road. |

I heard a while back that only the 2 series convertible (F23) got these rear cup holders - apparently that plastic cubby in the center of the bench is a different shape compared to the F22 and F87 so this part won't fit.

Only the F23 convertible. Rats. Well, thanks for the confirmation about this. If anyone knows about other rear seat cup holder solutions, I'd love to know too! |
