You have to recode it back using the backup that is made when you code it off. |

Using BimmerLink (I do have BimmerCode but I trust BimmerLink more once I purchased it...), you are able to toggle it on/off on the go.

Just in case anyone is considering purchasing the Technic PNP bypass harness, you better hope it works, because if it doesn't they...
1. Do not stand behind their product. 2. Do not accept returns. 3. Do not return emails. 4. Won't answer your questions directly. 5. Will blame your inability to use a plug on the fact that it does not work. Worst company, customer service, and product I have ever purchased for my car. |

I purchased mine around the same time as you did yours; mine had/has absolutely zero issues. Straight plug ‘n play and bye bye ASD.
Sucks that you’re having issues with the harness and with their service. Hopefully it’ll get sorted out. |

If you have the basic sound system (which mine has) it's enough to pull the fuse if you want to disable the ASD. If you have the upgraded sound system the ASD is integrated into that system and you can't just pull the fuse, you need an ASD delete harness or disable the ASD with coding.

Active Sound Design is the first "Control unit" and you can see it in the BimmerCode demo in the app. |
