Hunting with M2

Early this morning I went out for a nice rip and an unfortunate friend tried to get a free ride. Dinner?

There's a joke in here somewhere but it's too early in the AM for my brain to come up with it.

I will start. He keeps putting his nose in where it's not wanted!

I'm not sure either. Had a longer beak and some red on top of it's head. I do joke, but I am a bird/animal lover so I try and avoid any animals on the road. It just came out of the bush on the side of the road and there was no hope. RIP! I will see if I can find which type of bird it is.

I did some research and it looks like it's a Northern Flicker. Beautiful bird.

So it wasn't a bird of prey. It is indeed beautiful, nonetheless.

I did that trick FIRST!

I'm trying for an Eagle or Hawk! Now that would be cool.

Poor bird

The M2 does look like an apex predator in that pic.

A few years back I was driving through the back roads of NY state and was swarmed by a flock of chickens. I could hear a thud as I hit one of them, but it did not get stuck in my car. Up side - I did not have to extricate a dead bird from my front fascia. Down side - no free dinner that night... the irony is I ended up paying for KFC. Felt horrible though.
