So is this car just another LCI M235i or actual M car without M mirrors, M specific seat and CF roof????
To me, M2 is lack of true M motorsport spirit but rather developed as part of M model expansion throughout their line ups compare to M3/M4 and M5/M6 M logo on a regular M235i seats with different color stitch seriously???? Does this make them a M specific seat? A glass sunroof and No CFRP option? Think about it compare to 1M, we can definitely tell BMW put a lot more effort into developing 1M than M2 |

Even better: one M3 + fuel & tires for many miles.

so i guess the BMW M1 was not a 'true' M car either? i love these amateurs trying to define what a 'true M' is while owning a bloated fat M3 which defies all logic for compact M cars. |

We have to wait after the World Debut of the M2 in January in Detroit before any reviews. My guess we will see a review end of January/February.
Good thing is that it's the holiday season now. Thanksgiving, Christmas so time is flying and I sure do not spend that much time on the M2 boards because of it. |

I will not buy another M car if this is their idea of honoring M history with yet another dilution of what M means in the BMW brand.
