Car would look great with a CF lip spoiler. I'm sure a vender is already working on one.

When read MR I thought you were going to fully customize your M2 to be MR (Mid engine, Rear Wheel drive) but then I read your name. In my mind, I was like "this person is nuts!" Lol
Either way, good luck with your project! |

Of course.... Check the attachments below. These pics were made before I installed the Bilstein B16 kit, so at the end the car was a lot lower. This is including the full engine conversion to 450hp and 600Nm including exhaust, turbos, down pipes, etc + a lot more other changes on the inside.

The first step of boldness might be the choice for gold/bronze wheels from HRE or Vorsteiner to replace the stock wheels. Might do that after a set of rears has been finished MR |

I have officially ordered the car yesterday. All paperwork done and now it is a waiting game. The dealer gave me a really nice discount and a production slot in February. I am expecting my car to arrive when I am at the Geneva Motor Show early March and that is when I will see the car for the very first time live, which is kind of awkward but OK.
I also saw the BMW X6 M in LBB parked outside and inside, both dirty and clean. It gave me a good in-depth look at the color better than on the IAA where the lights completely killed the true nature of the color. Running in process For those of you, who have some information on the subject of running in. What is common with a M car? What is allowed and what not? What is the common process? Does it include a service after the running in period? Disengaging BMW Active Sound Additionally, I have been investigating the deactivation of the BMW Active Sound system for cars with HK audio. I spotted a nice video on YouTube showing a M4 owner just disconnecting a connector of the Active Sound box and that was it. Does anyone know if that is the same on the M235i, and subsequently also on the M2? MR |

Congrats MR, sounds great.
Interesting what you say about the discount....on a launch new M car?! So much for the limited status? I hope the wait passes quickly for you. Look forward to photos on delivery. Chris.

ASD can be turned off in cars with Harman Kardon only or coded off in all cars. This info is from the F80 section, but should apply to every other F-gen BMW.
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1185959 Yes, there's a 1,200 mile service which includes new fluids. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1007985 http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1032920 P. S. Are you from the Czech Republic? |

As for 'limited status' BMW are going to pump out as many as the market demands so it's hardly limited.

No however, I don't think BMW AG really stick to limited for example they built more than double the planned number of 1M Coupé - 2,700 cars increased to 6309 by the end of the production run. I'm sure if BMW had had spare production capacity even this number would have been exceeded.
Some national importers may artificially limit numbers, ie: BMW GB limiting imports of the 1M Coupé to 500 units and naming them '1 of 500'. BMW AG or DE IIRC didn't limit sales. Also, in the european countries which have already published M2 brochures I haven't noticed 'limited production' being mentioned. I'd say the only thing which will have a dramatic impact on production would be a strong increase in demand for the other models built at Leipzig. Daily production at Leipzig is up to 740 vehicles of BMW 1 series, BMW 2 series, BMW M2, BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and electric vehicles.
