But did you try cleaning both the cable and the plug?
Since I cleaned, still no issues...

If you just replaced the tail light, it's a matter of time it will happen again

I had the same errors with my M2C 2020 and just disabled the bulb check for the rear tail lights with Carly app and the problem hasn't come back, the lights work fine.

I've had this happen off and on, but it doesn't last long. I had the dealer look at it last year during the routine oil change. They said it was because of my modifications. I only have a MPE and dash cam which are wired in the fuse box in the trunk. They must have did something because the problem went away for almost a year, then popped back up. It comes come up every once in awhile, then goes away for months.

My M2 isn't my daily driver and I'm not driving it as much when I first got it, so not sure how prevalent the issue is. My warranty is up so I'll probably just try what has been mentioned or I'll have to pay for it unfortunately.

I don't think this is recommended, as I read in the other thread that while it no longer would show an error on your dashboard, the problem could occur and you just wouldn't notice it. In other words, you would think your turn signal is working fine, but in reality you could have the dim malfunction.

So I guess I need to start a new one.

Two years after I thought my dealer had fix this problem, I just started to get the dreaded right turn signal malfunction message.

I go to the dealer in a little over a week. I guess we will see what they do this time. Good timing though. My warranty is up at the end of this month.

For what I have read, maybe in the pre-LCI (non-LED) lights. At least, I didnīt see any burns or indications that the was any overcurrent in any pin.

From my side... still working flawlessly without any single fault since I cleaned them.
