To the OP, I feel for you. The whole situation sucks!

I am not sure if this has been discussed here or not but you should look into a diminished value claim. My 850i was hit, had $6K worth of damage which was paid for already, repairs completed. I then proceeded to go after the insurance company for a diminished value claim. Had an appraisal that the loss in value was at $6250 now that the car has had an accident. Just sent that over to Allstate. They countered with a $4K offer, will continue the pursuit to try to get more.
