Retrofitting LCI parts...

Hi everyone, I know at this point its just conjecture(what else are forums for, right?) but, I'm curious if anyone familiar with retrofitting other stuff on BMW's can comment on what they suspect will be involved in using the MY18 head and or tail lights on MY16/17 M2's?

My inference is that the rears would be a somewhat direct swap but I imagine the LED headlights might require some extra love in some way...

And for that matter, the digital gauge cluster seems really interesting. I wonder if the electronics are self contained in the cluster or if it relies on the ECU of the particular vehicle.

From what I've seen of the updated Highlights (Pictures on the web / youtube), are not that much of difference for me to consider retrofitting. I may be wrong when I see them in the flesh.

I agree the rears should be a piece of cake to fit, but again not sure if is worth the cost vs very slight difference............
