Good to know it can be restored.

I did watch a few YouTube videos showing some guys using what looked like a toothbrush or similar tools to restore the Alcantara but the end results - while better than at the start - never looked pristine.

I was getting worried that I needed gloves to use it every day.
Having clean hands definitely helps. The oils and dirt in your hands will matt the nap down over time. Just a little dishwashing soap (like a drop) on a wet, inexpensive wash cloth brings it back. I find that that the cheap washclothes work best because they are kind of rough and help bring back the fluff in the material. Microfiber towels don't seem to work as well for some reason. Doesn't hurt my feelings since I can save the microfiber towels for the exterior.

I used some of my wife's make-up wipes to clean the alcantara wheel on my C63! It came up like new, just some gentle rubbing was all that was needed.

Below the photo's of the blue stitching

Leather version looks to be easier to work with than alcantara by the stitching lines/consistency.

I seriously want one!

The stitching is similar on the alcantara version too but it moves a bit more during installation and handling so you'll have to align it by hand to get it (near) perfect.

You can pull/push on the alcantara to align it.

Struggles. I'm between the GTS and the CS in leather.

I just had to try out the new BM two tone GTS style speedo casing made of Alcantara and Dakota Leather with the Polar Blue stitching. I'll be honest, I had my reservations about the look of it initially and am not usually a fan of two tone materials, but it came out top notch (pictures truly don't do it justice) and honestly this casing matches the F87 M2 the most in my opinion. Now onto the install pics!

I just received my dash cover from bimmermasterpieces this week and I just installed it today. It looks so good.

This should've been done from the factory!

Not at all. The dash in the LCI is completely different.

IDK if you prefer to have something cosmetic over to the perforamnce.
With that of money you will spend on interior, I will probablly get Dinan S2 stage suspension and engine tune..

I checked my LCI dash cover, and it looks like it is one piece with the rest of the dash, so I don't think you can just swap it out.

I think the idea here is to just install the piece over the existing dash without removing anything... on pre-lci is also once piece.

Thing is the shapes are slightly different
