Week 28
Just got my a Week 30 build slot.
Called BMW San Antonio in late Feb 2017 and was told I was 12th on the list. Late March I received an allocation for Week 25. After calling the automated tracking line and tracking on MYBMW didn't get any news until June 10th. When I would call the automated number to see if I had an actual date I would usually get a message stating its in production without a confirmed production. On June 10th, I called and it would send me to a BMW associate instead of the usual no production date message. After talking to the BMW Genius they confirmed my MY17 was changed to a MY18 and my new delivery date was pushed back to Week 30. Received a CA screen shot confirming the switch to 2018 and the new build week. No word yet on if they honor 2017 or 2018 pricing. Update: The MYBMW website still won't accept my production number, but it did work when I had a 2017. I called the automated number and found out my car as a completion date of July 11th, moving it into a Week 28 build slot. Still don't have a VIN from my CA.
