Jack won't fit!

Hi,

I bought a floor jack along with jack pads to protect the jacking points. The pads a little bit thicker and they won't go underneath the car along with the jack.

What's the trick? Are you guys using a low profile jack or slimmer jack pads?

Need some help here

I'm assuming that your car is lowered? If so, normally you would need a low profile jack. Or you can try driving over wooden planks to see if your car will clear over the jack

It's on stock suspension. Kinda bummed that I have to use wooden planks to raise car first -- was hoping not to disturb my neighbors with the cold start just to raise it over the planks

Sorry but you need a low profile jack. Unless you get one of these you'll need to play games every time you want to lift the car.

Not sure about the cost of jack pads, but I use hockey pucks.

I wanted to install rear reflectors on the car, and didn't want to damage the jacking points. First time I was to jack the car up and I had no jack pads, so I started looking around the house for something I could use lol. I have a regular sized jack (not low profile) . How thick exactly are the jacking pads that you have?
