34 - got the m2 as my toy car, but ended up driving it more than my i8 and truck because it's just so much more fun to be in.

52 and I have a Boston CD in the player. That's a band from the 70's in case you twenty year olds want to know. I think I had that same CD in my E30 M3, or was it a cassette. Damn it I don't remember. It sucks getting old.

I wonder what this poll would look like for F80/F82 owners...

28 . Ordered right after my 27th birthday . Took delivery 2.5 months after my 28th . That was always my goal ever since I read the "what year did you get your first M " thread in the M3 forums a few years back . The younger me Used to beat myself up mentally for not being to grab some used "classic" M's (e60 m5 or e92 m3) and ended up getting something better and more timeless after staying focused and improving myself personally and career-wise. I am also glad that I was able to mature a little before I got behind the driver seat of one of these as an owner.
(The e92 is a modern classic as well though ) |

Never to old !
Hi Guys ... My passion for driving fast cars has not faded with passage of time !
I consider myself as living proof that passion is not age related. I started driving at 17 and still enjoy the thrill of speed at my tender age of 57 ! Absolutely love driving my BSM2 The day this feeling starts to diminish .. it's time to hang up the gloves .. |

67 and the M2 is the best car out of the 33 I've had so far. Also have the Boston CD in the player.

63 here. Ordered my retirement present to myself, and have a week 35 build. Always wanted an M3, but didn't like the way they were getting bigger. I currently have a 228, and find it perfect size for me.

55 - this is my 7th BMW (still have my 2002 and E30 convertible). Two kids thru law school prevented me from getting my "dream" car until now. Always wanted an M3 but they became too bloated over time. Glad the M2 introduction coincided with the last graduation! It was worth the wait!

Wow, 48 people that have an M2 are in the ages 18-24? Not a bad thing, but very very surprising. And this poll does not include of the many people who have not voted as well. So this number for ages 18-24 is probably a lot higher. Interesting numbers.

Also if you are really good at school and get done in the 4-5 years it takes to finish I can see some of them being very young professionals making good money. |
