We drive there Friday morning, hang out that night, drive all day Saturday starting at about 9/10, then drive home Sunday morning, but the event goes all day Sunday as well. I find that I've had enough of driving with the 6-hours there and 6-hours back + Saturday drive though.

We go every year. I've been 10+ times.
